About

I am an LPC and the founder of Thrive Trauma & Restoration Center. Before starting my practice my career took me into some of the places where mental health work is at its most complex including residential treatment, inpatient care, juvenile detention, outpatient services, and behavioral health leadership. For more than 15 years, I have worked with adolescents, young adults, women, and families navigating complex trauma, significant mental health needs, high-risk behaviors, exploitation, attachment wounds, and circumstances that rarely fit neatly into a textbook or treatment plan. I have also spent years supervising clinicians and leading multidisciplinary behavioral health teams in high-acuity settings. That experience shaped the way I think about supervision and leadership. I understand both the clinical responsibility of caring for people with complex needs and the very real impact this work can have on the people doing it. My work in trauma-informed leadership grew from that experience. Today, I also train and consult with leaders on creating environments where clinicians can be held accountable, challenged to grow, and supported as human beings at the same time. Supervision Style

I care about the clinician you are becoming, but I also care about the person you are while you are becoming them. Supervision with me goes beyond reviewing cases, checking off hours, and making sure you are prepared for licensure. We will absolutely strengthen your clinical skills, wrestle with difficult cases, talk through the moments when you aren't sure what to do next, and prepare for the licensing exam. But I also want to help you find your own voice as a therapist rather than teaching you to become a version of me. We will talk about the things that don't always make it into textbooks—the weight of carrying other people's stories, the cases that stay with you, navigating your own triggers, learning when to trust yourself, setting boundaries, preventing burnout, and figuring out how to be fully present for this work without allowing it to consume your life. I believe good supervision should be a place where you can be challenged without being shamed, ask the questions you think you should already know the answers to, and be honest when something feels hard. For clinicians who desire it, there is also room to explore how your faith and your identity as a clinician can exist together with wisdom, strong ethics, and respect for the people entrusted to your care. My goal isn't simply to help you become licensed. I want to help you become a grounded, thoughtful, confident clinician who knows who they are, understands the responsibility of this work, and can continue doing it well without losing themselves along the way.
