Supervision Style

My supervision style is collaborative, supportive, and growth-focused. I believe supervision should be a space where clinicians can openly process challenges, ask questions, build confidence, and strengthen their clinical identity without feeling like they have to already “have it all figured out.” I value curiosity, self-reflection, and authenticity, and I aim to balance encouragement with thoughtful feedback that promotes both professional and personal growth. I tend to integrate practical skill-building with deeper clinical understanding, helping supervisees strengthen case conceptualization, documentation, ethics, boundaries, and therapeutic presence. I also recognize the emotional demands of this field and believe sustainable clinical work requires attention to burnout, self-awareness, and realistic expectations rather than perfection. My goal is to help supervisees feel more grounded in their clinical decision-making, more confident in their voice as a therapist, and more connected to the kind of clinician they want to become.
