Lisa Ellen DeWitt, MSW, LCSW, LISW-CP/S, CEAP, SAP-Qualified Clinical Supervisor | Clinical Consultant | Behavioral Health Leader LED Consulting & Counseling LLC I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and experienced clinical leader with more than 20 years in behavioral health, including clinical practice, program leadership, clinical supervision, EAP, substance use services, trauma-informed care, and workforce mental health. My approach to supervision is supportive, collaborative, practical, and growth-focused. I believe effective supervision should give clinicians a safe place to bring challenging cases and questions while also helping them develop strong clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, confidence, and their own professional identity. I have supervised both licensed and pre-licensed clinicians and have extensive experience with case consultation, clinical decision-making, documentation, risk assessment, ethical and regulatory standards, and behavioral health program development. In addition to my clinical work, I have spent much of my career in leadership and consultation roles. I currently provide advanced clinical consultation within a corporate behavioral health/EAP environment, supporting complex behavioral health concerns, risk assessment, crisis consultation, clinical best practices, and regulatory considerations. Through LED Consulting & Counseling LLC, I bring these experiences together through clinical supervision, behavioral health consultation, workforce wellbeing, and professional development. My goal is simple: To help clinicians become thoughtful, confident, ethical practitioners who trust their clinical voice while knowing when to seek consultation and support. My Supervision Approach I don't believe supervision should simply be a review of what happened during the week. I want supervisees to leave supervision with a deeper understanding of the client, greater confidence in their clinical decisions, and practical skills they can use immediately. Our work may include: Case conceptualization and clinical decision-making Developing and strengthening clinical skills Risk assessment and crisis management Documentation and treatment planning Ethics, boundaries, and professional responsibility Trauma-informed practice Substance use and co-occurring concerns Family and relational systems Managing challenging clinical situations Developing clinical confidence and professional identity Navigating the transition from emerging clinician to independent practitioner I bring both a clinical and leadership perspective to supervision. My career has included managing outpatient behavioral health programs, supervising clinicians, providing clinical consultation, overseeing quality and compliance, and leading behavioral health program development.
