Virginia Wilson

I find the greatest satisfaction in supporting people in processing their experiences and learning how to better navigate their world, both as a clinician working with clients and a supervisor working with emerging counselors. I value the importance of individualizing supervision, prioritizing communication and exploration, and establishing positive, working relationships. My goal is to be a guide and support around finding the pathway to counseling that fits you and leads to a fulfilled career and life. My clinical experience includes work in residential crisis, school-based day treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, community-based services, and outpatient counseling. I have spent the past 14 years working with children, adolescents, adults, and their families in both education and mental health settings. Since 2020, I have focused specifically on supporting older adolescents and adults in outpatient counseling via telehealth and supervising counseling interns and residents.
